What we actually do

Six capabilities, deployed in the order most likely to get your money back. The cheapest and fastest routes are worked first; litigation is the last resort, not the sales pitch.

Capabilities

All six are set out below, in the order we work them: the fastest and cheapest routes first, litigation last.

Capabilities

The work itself

Each of these is a different skill set and a different set of relationships. Most cases use two or three.

01

Forensic fund tracing

Following the money from your account through every intermediary, however many there were, to the account that holds it now.

Bank-to-bank transfers, payment processor records, and on-chain analysis where cryptocurrency is involved.

02

Institution-led recovery

Recall and freeze requests to the banks, card networks, and processors that can actually reverse a payment.

These routes have the shortest windows and the highest success rates, which is why they are worked first.

03

Negotiated returns

Where the holder of the funds is identifiable and has something to lose, a negotiated return is often faster and cheaper than litigation.

We pursue it where it is realistic, and tell you when we think it isn't.

04

Civil recovery claims

Claims against identified parties, filed through local counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.

The slowest and most expensive route, so we choose it last — but sometimes it is the only one that reaches the money.

05

Asset freezing

Urgent applications to prevent funds moving further while a claim is prepared.

Time-critical by definition. If a freezing order is available in your case, it is usually available now or not at all.

06

Prevention & follow-up

Securing accounts, correcting credit records, and closing the exposure that let the fraud happen.

Included in every engagement rather than sold as an extra.

How it runs

From first call to final transfer

You approve the strategy at stage three before we spend anything pursuing it. Nothing is filed, demanded, or paid out without your sign-off.

  1. Intake & Assessment

We review your documentation, confirm the fraud typology, and estimate whether the funds are still traceable. You receive a written assessment, not a sales call.

  2. Forensic Trace

We follow the money. Bank-to-bank transfers, payment processor records, and where applicable on-chain analysis of cryptocurrency movements.

  3. Recovery Strategy

Based on the trace, we select the route most likely to succeed: institution-led recall, negotiated return, civil claim, or a combination. You approve the strategy before we proceed.

  4. Execution

Freezing requests, formal demands, engagement of local counsel, and where necessary legal proceedings. You receive progress updates on a fixed schedule throughout.

  5. Recovery & Return

Recovered funds are returned through secure, documented channels. You receive a full accounting of what was recovered and what was not.

  6. Protection & Follow-up

We advise on account security, credit monitoring, and the specific controls that would have stopped the original fraud.

From you

What we need to start

You do not need all of this to make the first call. It is what a case needs to move, and the earlier it arrives the faster the trace begins.

Financial records

Bank statements, transaction records, wire transfer confirmations, and credit card statements related to the fraudulent activity.

Communication records

Emails, text messages, chat logs, and other communications with the fraudsters or related parties.

Official reports

Police reports, fraud reports filed with financial institutions, and any regulatory complaints submitted.

Identification documents

Government-issued ID, proof of address, and any documents establishing your identity for financial institutions.
Service questions

Before you engage us

The rest of them, including how long a case takes and who sees your documents, are on the FAQ page.

Do you take cases where the money has already left the country?
Yes. Cross-border tracing is the majority of what we do. It adds time and complexity, not impossibility.
Can you help if I have already reported to the police?
Yes, and we prefer it. A formal report strengthens almost every recovery route. We work alongside your existing report rather than replacing it.
What if the fraudster has been identified but not charged?
Identification is useful but not required. Recovery is a civil process and does not depend on a criminal conviction.
Do you handle small cases?
We assess them, but we will be honest about whether a case of that size is worth pursuing at all. We will tell you if it is not.
How long before I know if my case is viable?
One week from receiving your documentation. You get a written assessment either way.
Will I deal with the same person throughout?
Yes. Every case has a named lead who remains your point of contact from intake to final accounting.

A free assessment tells you whether any of this applies to you

Within one week of receiving your documents, you get a written answer either way — including if the answer is that your money is not recoverable.
